Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Sweden Q2 2025: Performance Overview

In the second quarter of 2025, Google Maps maintained a consistent presence in the Swedish market. Weekly downloads saw a gradual increase, starting at approximately 6.4K and peaking at 7.3K by the end of June. Active users also showed a positive trend, rising from 3.57M to around 3.82M, reflecting its continued popularity.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic from Waze Inc. experienced a notable increase in downloads, beginning at 3.1K and climbing to 4.5K by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, moving from 75.3K to 107.8K.

Google Earth had steady download numbers, starting at 3.4K and reaching 4.1K. However, active users saw a decline, decreasing from 64.2K to 47.1K over the quarter.

Min Karta, a local favorite, showed a stable download pattern, with numbers ranging from 2.7K to 3.7K. Active users increased slightly, from 26.7K to 30.5K.

Speedometer Simple demonstrated an upward trend in both downloads and active users. Downloads started at 639 and rose to 1.1K, while active users increased from 1.7K to 2.7K. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $296 in late June.
